Florence police officer faces domestic violence charges
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a Florence police officer was arrested on domestic violence charges.
According to Florence police, the incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Javen Pillar, whose age was unavailable, has been charged with third degree domestic violence.
The sheriff’s office was contacted to respond to the incident by the on-scene supervisor, police said.
Pillar was booked into the Lauderdale County Detention Center.
