Five Guys coming to Saraland
AltaPointe Health Systems Inc., paid $5.375 million for the 14,000-square-foot medical practice office at 6908 Providence Park Drive S., in Mobile, according to Pratt Thomas of Merrill P. Thomas Co., who represented the seller. The building on 2.5 acres is on the campus of Ascension Providence Hospital. AltaPointe, a healthcare system providing primary and behavioral healthcare, will occupy the building.
A local developer paid $663,750 for almost an acre of land on Shell Street in Saraland across from Publix supermarket, and plans to build a 3,700-square-foot building to house Five Guys Burgers & Fries and Tropical Smoothie Cafe, according to Robert Cook of Vallas Realty, who handled the transaction. The developer is also the operator of the restaurants. Construction should start next month.
An out-of-state investment group paid $650,000 for almost an acre at 201 McMeans Ave., in Bay Minette, according to Crawford Stitt at White-Spunner Realty, who represented the buyer. Vallas Realty worked for the seller. The buyers plan to build a 7 Brew Coffee shop on the site.
Beez Catering has leased 1,200 square feet of space in Piccadilly Square at 6345 Airport Blvd., in Mobile, according to Chris Harle of White-Spunner Realty, who represented the landlord.
Kings Grooming Lounge has leased 3,200 square feet of space at 100 S. Florida St., in Mobile, according to Jill Meeks of Stirling, who handled the transaction. Kings, a barber shop, will relocate from its current location on Moffett Road.
Dr. Rachel Hoadley-Clausen has leased 1,200 square feet in Grelot Commons at 6720 Grelot Road in Mobile, according to Jill Meeks of Stirling, who represented the landlord. A licensed clinical and counseling psychologist, she has opened a Neuromuscular Spine & Joint Center in the building.
