Gains were fairly minimal Friday on our Birmingham and Alabama Stock Report, but local stocks definitely peppered the top.

Birmingham-based First US Bancshares led the way with a 3.3% gain. Medical Properties Trust picked up nearly 2%. ProAssurance gained .5%.

Warrior Met Coal was down near the bottom with a 3.3% loss.
