Family sought for 3 who died in Jefferson County in past month

Authorities are searching for family members of three people who died in Jefferson County over the past month.

Their bodies are ready to be released for burial, but the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has not been able to locate and notify their relatives.

All three died of natural causes.

Pamela Jeanne Glazner(Jefferson County Coroner’s Office)

Pamela Jeanne Glazner, 61, died Feb. 29 at Magnolia Ridge nursing home on Dean Lane in Gardendale.

Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said Glazner had lived in Jefferson County since at least 1988. She had previous addresses listed on 76th Street North in Birmingham, Tyler Loop Road in Pinson, Smith Mill Road in Trafford, and Roe Chandler Road in Trussville.

Her husband, Jerry Lee Glazner, died in 2014.

Brenda Alice Harrington McLeod

Brenda Alice Harrington McLeod, 81, died March 1. She was a resident at Eastview Health Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center East on Fourth Avenue South in Birmingham.

She previously listed home addresses in Montgomery, Hope Hull, Wetumpka, Manila Arkansas, Monette, Arizona and Nortonville, Kentucky.

Binh Dinh Hoang

Binh Dinh Hoang, 68, died at UAB Hospital on Feb. 21.

He died of natural causes while a patient, but Yates said it wasn’t immediately clear how he got to the hospital or when.

Hoang’s home address was listed in Foley, where he has lived since 2023. He is believed to have family still in the Foley area.
