Family Dollar recalls Flintstones vitamins, meds, marijuana tests among 300 products

Family Dollar is recalling hundreds of products after the items were stored “outside of labeled temperature requirements.”

It is the second time since last year the discount chain has recalled hundreds of over-the-counter products. This most recent recall involves more than 300 products and 23 states. The list of products can be found here.

The recall impacts stores in the following states: Florida, California, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

A sampling of the items include A&D Ointment, NyQuil Cold & Flu Liquid, Clearblue Pregnancy Test, Crest and Colgate toothpaste, as well as forms of Aleve, Bayer, Tylenol and more. The recalled products were sold from June 1-Oct. 4.

According to Yahoo, the company noted customers likely don’t have receipts for Flintstones vitamins or at-home marijuana test strips, so the store is allowing returns to the store of purchase without receipt.
