Ex-Alabama star from Final Four team joins another SEC program

Nick Pringle has found his next stop, but he’s not leaving the SEC.

Pringle will now play for his third SEC school in a row; the ex-Alabama forward has decided to sign with Arkansas for the 2025-26 season, On3 reported Tuesday.

Pringle played for two seasons for the Crimson Tide. Then he transferred for the 2024-25 season to South Carolina, where he averaged 24.5 minutes, 9.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.5 steals per game.

Pringle was part of the Alabama team that went to the Final Four in 2024, the first such team to do so in program history. That was after his first season with the Crimson Tide in which Pringle helped Alabama earn its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in 2023.

Pringle was crucial in the victory over Clemson in the Elite Eight for Alabama in which he tallied a double-double.

Now Pringle will go play for John Calipari and the Razorbacks.
