This week, the BJCC and Live Nation ceremonially broke ground for construction on the new 9,380-seat Birmingham Amphitheater that is expected to open in June 2025 three blocks north of Protective Stadium.

It’s part of the redevelopment plan for the former Carraway Methodist Medical Center campus.
