Whether it is a revenge factor or Alabama is playing at home, ESPN’s “College GameDay” has spoken.

When it comes to Alabama-Tennessee on the “Third Saturday in October,” it is all Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide. The panel, including guest picker C.J. Stroud, on the popular traveling pregame college football show picked only one SEC game, and it was the one at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

“Alabama stops the run, wins a close one. Roll Tide,” Desmond Howard said.

“(Alabama quarterback Jalen) Milroe will have to stay on his feet,” Pat McAfee said. “They will have to protect him. Give me Alabama.”

Stroud said Alabama is “starting to catch the rhythm.”

“Nick Saban is 17-2 vs. Tennessee. Make it 18-2,” Corso chimed in.”

Expect a defensive battle, according to Kirk Herbstreit.

“I’m going with Alabama, low-scoring,” he said. “Two great defenses going against each other. I think Bama wins the game. Milroe will make a big play late.”
