ESPN: SEC sets dates for Alabama football’s 2024 games against Georgia, Oklahoma, LSU

Alabama’s most-anticipated matchup of the 2024 season now has a reported date. The Crimson Tide will host the Georgia Bulldogs on Sept. 28, 2024.

ESPN’s Chris Low reported a set of marquee Southeastern Conference matchups on Monday night. The conference’s current television rights deal with CBS expires this Saturday for the SEC Championship. ESPN will take over most of the games next season. The full schedule is expected in December.

Other matchups revealed include an Oct. 19 date at Tennessee. Keeping with tradition, the Tide will be in Neyland Stadium on The Third Saturday of October. Alabama will be at LSU on Nov. 9. UA will head to Norman and face conference-newcomer Oklahoma on Nov. 23. The Iron Bowl will be on Nov. 30.

Alabama will play Western Kentucky in its home opener on Aug. 31, 2024. The week after it’ll host South Florida. The Tide travels to Camp Randall for a game against Wisconsin on Sept. 14. The early-season date with Georgia provides a marquee matchup for Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The Tide and Bulldogs will meet for the first time since the 2021 national championship this weekend for the 2023 SEC crown.
