Eric Musselman goes shirtless in celebration of Arkansas’ upset of No. 1 Kansas
Eric Musselman knows how to party.
The Arkansas coach reacted in a way only he could, stripping off his shirt in celebration of the Razorbacks’ 72-71 win over Kansas on Saturday in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
The 58-year-old coach jumped onto the press table, ripped off his red polo shirt and waved it over his head, shouting all the while to the fans’ delight, as has become his tradition after the biggest of his wins.

“That’s such an unbelievable win for our program,” Musselman said. “I keep telling people that we’re getting better. Not many teams can get better this time of year. I’ve never been prouder of a team like tonight.”
He has had plenty of practice with his celebration.
In February of 2022, after Arkansas 80-76 upset No. 1 Auburn in overtime, Musselman ripped off his shirt and joined the celebration with his fan base. No matter that his arm was still in a sling after rotator cuff surgery the month before, he wasn’t going to miss this pulsating party.
“There won’t be a better crowd than that in the next 50 years,” Musselman said after that game. “Nobody that was here did not have fun unless maybe an Auburn fan.”
Arkansas has now made it to the Sweet 16 in 3 consecutive seasons.
The Razorbacks will await the winner of No. 4 UConn and No. 5 Saint Mary’s.
