Elon Musk stepped up his fight against the “One Big Beautiful Bill” on Wednesday, calling on Americans to pressure their representatives in Washington to “kill” the legislation.

“Call your Senator, Call your Congressman,Bankrupting America is NOT ok!“ the Tesla CEO and world’s richest person tweeted Wednesday afternoon. ”KILL the BILL.”

Musk, who has supported President Donald Trump and ended his tenure with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) as a special government employee Friday, has been vehemently opposed to Trump’s signature piece of legislation making its way through Congress.

On Tuesday, Musk called the bill an “abomination.”

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination,” Musk tweeted.

The tech billionaire is against the bill for increasing the deficit.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimated Wednesday the bill would increase yearly budget deficits by a total of $2.4 trillion over 10 years, CBS News reported.

That increase pales in comparison to the $9 billion in DOGE cuts that would be codified as part of the legislation.

According to Axios, Musk also opposes the bill because it cuts the electronic vehicle tax credit — a measure that harms Tesla.

The “final straw,” the outlet reported Wednesday, came on Saturday, when Trump withdrew the nomination of Jared Isaacman to be NASA administrator.

Isaacman has close ties to Musk, having twice purchased flights into space aboard the latter’s SpaceX rockets.
