Elberta acreage sells for mega bucks
A local investor paid $1.425 million for 60 acres with six buildings on U.S. 98 in Elberta, according to Peggy Summerville of Scout South Properties, who represented the seller. Ken Crabtree of Signature Properties worked for the buyer. The property at 29451 U.S. 98 includes five 3,000-square-foot leased warehouses on 20 acres with 660 front feet on Highway 98. And it also includes a galvanized steel Quonset hut on 40 acres with two ponds.
A trucking company paid $306,000 for 6.8 acres on Radcliff Road in Saraland and plans to set up a truck terminal on the property, according to Lisa George of Realty Executives Bay Group who handled both sides of the transaction.
A local investor paid $163,000 for a 2,400-square-foot building at 3954 Demetropolis Road in Mobile, according to Jay O’Brien of Stirling Properties. The buyer will have 1,150 square feet of flex space with a roll-up door available for lease.
Trintalya’s Boutique & Gifts has leased 1,300 square feet of space in Cottage Hill Plaza at 8306 Cottage Hill Road in Mobile, according to Jill Meeks of Stirling Properties.
Airport Liquor has opened in 1,350 square feet of leased space at 7080 Airport Blvd., in Mobile, according to Leigh Dale Younce of SRS Real Estate Partners in Birmingham, who represented the landlord. The new store is at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Cody Road.
Knots Salon has relocated to Airport Oaks at 7449 Airport Blvd., in Mobile, according to Angela McArthur of Stirling Properties, who handled the transaction.
Premier Transport has leased space at 1708 Dauphin St., in Mobile, according to Amanda Goldman of Stirling Properties, who represented the tenant. Jay Roberds II of CRE Mobile worked for the landlord. Premier Transport provides non-emergency medical transportation primarily for the needs of the elderly and disabled.
A local investor paid $231,000 for 113 acres on Schillinger Road in Tillman’s Corner in Mobile at an absolute auction, according to William Bone of International Auction of Gadsden. The former Liberty subdivision property had been on the market for many years.
