Mobile police are investigating a shooting that left a 43-year-old man dead early Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the 2000 block of De Kruif Court off Summerville Street in Mobile at approximately 4:13 a.m. on a shooting call and found the wounded man, police said in a news release.

The victim has been identified as Lamount Fagan. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police said no additional information is currently available for release from this incident.
