The Rock can smell what AJ McCarron is cooking.

By now, you have seen the emotional post-game interview the former Alabama quarterback gave after he led the St. Louis Battlehawks to an 18-15 victory over the San Antonio Brahmas.

Well, you aren’t the only one.

Dwayne Johnson, who – along with investors – bought the XFL rights for about $15 million in August 2020, took notice and tweeted about the interview.

“This is what the XFL is all about,” Johnson tweeted. “Always cuts deeper when we can identify our ‘why’ we do what we do. Incredible come from behind win from the Battlehawks led by QB AJ McCarron.

“Beautiful moment brother. Hug ‘em tight – they’re our ‘why.’”
