Two people were arrested and charged with criminal offenses for a shooting a teenage boy early Wednesday in Mobile.

Laura Goodwin, 19, and Jaleen Dixon, 22, were arrested and booked into the Mobile Metro Jail on charges of assault 1st degree and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

The shooting happened around 1:13 a.m. in the 7000 block of Gloster Court in west Mobile. Upon arrival, police officers discovered a 17-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
