Donald Trump promotes wild conspiracy theory Joe Biden was executed and cloned
President Donald Trump amplified a wild conspiracy to his 10 million Truth Social followers that claims Joe Biden was executed in 2020 and replaced by clones.
“There is no #JoeBiden – executed in 2020. #Biden clones doubles & robotic engineered soulless mindless entities are what you see. >#Democrats dont know the difference,” the user llijh, which has just 94 followers on Truth Social, posted to the platform.
The president picked up on the post and disseminated it to his more than 9.8 million Truth Social followers:
Several conspiracy theories surrounding Biden’s presidency have sprouted on social media, including an eight-hour Facebook video that claimed Biden wasn’t making a media appearance and instead was computer generated.
Other theories claim Biden was killed and replaced with artificial intelligence.
Late last month, Trump suggested that Biden wasn’t running the White House.
He claimed the president’s advisors, whom he referred to as “treasonous thugs,” hijacked the presidency and were behind Biden’s policies.
Trump critics claimed his Truth Social post is further evidence he’s unfit for office.
“Trump is absolutely out of his mind. He’s clearly unstable and unwell. This is very concerning,” tweeted liberal social media influencer Harry Sisson.
“Trump has jumped the shark and just posted that Biden was ‘executed’ and ‘cloned’ in 2020,” said former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann, referencing the amendment that paves the way for the president’s cabinet to remove him from office.
“The 25th Amendment would seem to be mandatory,” he said.
