Donald Trump endorses Mike Rogers for reelection

Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to endorse Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Saks, for reelection, saying the Alabama congressman is “doing a fantastic job.”

“Congressman Mike Rogers is doing a fantastic job representing the people of Alabama’s 3rd Congressional District,” Trump posted to his social media platform Wednesday afternoon. “As the first chairman of the House Armed Services Committee from Alabama, Mike is rebuilding our great military, fighting woke ideology, and defending our country.”

“Rogers is working hard to secure our borders, champion religious liberties, uphold the rule of law, and protect our Second Amendment,” Trump continued.

The president said Rogers has his “complete and toral endorsement” — the former president’s trademark phrase when he backs a candidate in an election.

“Mike Rogers is a respected, America first conservative, and he has my complete and total endorsement,” Trump said.

Rogers has represented east Alabama in the House since 2013.
