Donald Trump campaign selling ‘not guilty’ T-Shirts with fake mugshot as ex-president is arraigned
Donald Trump’s 2024 election campaign is now selling “not guilty” T-shirts that feature the former president in a fake mugshot photo.
“Order your Official Trump Mugshot T-Shirt TODAY!” Trump’s campaign posted to social media on Tuesday.
Trump was arraigned in New York on Tuesday and reportedly faces 34 felony charges relating to a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels in the lead up to the 2016 presidential election, according to an indictment released today through the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
Trump pleaded not guilty to all federal charges.
A mugshot reportedly was not taken when Trump was arrested Tuesday. The mugshot on the T-shirts being sold by the Trump campaign isn’t real. The T-shirt is being sold for $36.
Trump’s campaign claims the former president has raised more than $7 million since this past Thursday when news of the indictment first broke.
“VERY UNFAIR VENUE, WITH SOME AREAS THAT VOTED 1% REPUBLICAN. THIS CASE SHOULD BE MOVED TO NEARBY STATEN ISLAND – WOULD BE A VERY FAIR AND SECURE LOCATION FOR THE TRIAL. ADDITIONALLY, THE HIGHLY PARTISAN JUDGE & HIS FAMILY ARE WELL KNOWN TRUMP HATERS. HE WAS AN UNFAIR DISASTER ON A PREVIOUS TRUMP RELATED CASE, WOULDN’T RECUSE, GAVE HORRIBLE JURY INSTRUCTIONS, & IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH DURING THE WITCH HUNT TRIAL. HIS DAUGHTER WORKED FOR ‘KAMALA’ & NOW THE BIDEN-HARRIS CAMPAIGN. KANGAROO COURT!!!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
