Ousted CNN host Don Lemon is speaking out on his plans after being dumped by CNN.

Lemon, 57, said he was surprised by being let go but added “life goes on.” The conversation was reported by RadarOnline.com.

“That’s behind me and we’ll see what happens in the future,” Lemon told Extra’s Tommy DiDario in regard to his dismissal from CNN. “I live my life with no regrets and whatever I did, I did, I owned. I don’t look back and don’t want to change things in the past.”

When asked about his future plans, Lemon said he will spend the summer on the beach and on a boat with his family.

“Just chill out and then I’ll see what happens next, but I’m fortunate enough to be in a position where I can do that. I have time,” he said. “I don’t have to rush to another job, even if I want another job.”

Lemon’s firing from CNN came in the same week that Fox News parted ways with host Tucker Carlson. Carlson’s future plans are unknown but both men have hired the same high-powered attorney in the wake of their ousters.
