Dolly Parton bringing $60 million pirate-themed dinner show theatre to Panama City

Come 2025, visitors to Panama City will be able to enjoy dinner while treated to pirates doing battle in a 15-foot-deep lagoon.

The Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show, launched by country music legend Dolly Parton, currently has locations in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and Myrtle Beach, S.C. and will make Panama City its newest location in 2025, according to WJHG in Panama City.

The Panama City location will be a 60,000 square-foot theatre which will seat more than 1,000 guests, with an estimated cost of $60 million. The venue is also expected to create 300 new jobs.

The show features swashbucklers including Blackbeard and Calico Jack leading their crews in battle on, around and above full-sized pirate ships while guest dine on selections including Buccaneer Biscuits, Swashbucklin’ Sugar-Cured Ham, Pirate Herb-Basted Potato and Walk the Plank Specialty Desserts.

In addition to the stunt show featuring pirates and swordplay, the show features mermaids, tropical birds, and sea lions.
