Does Krispy Kreme give out free doughnuts for good grades? Here’s the real story

Students with good grades may be in for a treat at Krispy Kreme.

The national doughnut chain has a deal that gives out free doughnuts if students get A’s on their report cards.

The deal, reports People Magazine, is one “A” on a report card, one free Original Glazed doughnut and students can get up to six treats.

In a statement to People Magazine, Krispy Kreme said that to claim the deal, the student must be in grades K-12, and be present at the store. Report cards must also be for the current term. Progress reports or mid-term reports are also not eligible.

The deal isn’t officially company policy but the chain encourages locations to participate, the report said.
