Disabled tenants without AC at Huntsville apartments: ‘Like a slumlord’

Bobbi Tennyson sat in her wheelchair with a fan buzzing loudly inside her apartment in downtown Huntsville as temperatures climbed to 90 degrees last week.

“Have not had heating or cooling for 17 months now,” Tennyson, who has a speech impairment, typed on her phone to communicate with AL.com.
