Diet Coke, Sprite and Fanta recalled in Alabama, 2 other states due to ‘foreign material’

If you’ve bought Diet Coke, Sprite or Fanta in Alabama, Florida or Mississippi in recent months, you will want to check your cans.

The Food and Drug Administration has recalled the popular soft drinks to “potential foreign material.” The recall was first issued in November and packages were taken off store shelves but may still be in homes.

The nature of the “foreign material” has not been released.
