This is the eighth time that Henry has been the AFC Offensive Player of the Week, but it’s first time he has won the award with Baltimore. Henry spent his first eight NFL seasons with the Tennessee Titans before joining the Ravens via NFL free agency in March.
Henry became the first Baltimore running back to earn the honor since Justin Forsett in Week 12 of the 2014 season.
The NFL announced the Player of the Week picks on Wednesday. The other winners were Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, NFC Offensive; Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones, AFC Defensive; Atlanta Falcons linebacker Troy Andersen, NFC Defensive; Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk, AFC Special Teams; and Chicago Bears punter Tory Taylor, NFC Special Teams.
