Alabama Department of Transportation crews will patch a section of I-65 southbound in Limestone County this week.

Weather permitting, work will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Mar. 10 to Mar. 13, according to a recent release.

The release adds that drivers this week should expect intermittent single-lane closures at various locations on the southbound roadway between Exit 365 in Ardmore and milepost 341 (the CSX Railroad overpass bridge).

ALDOT told commuters in the areato expect delays, plan additional travel time, reduce speed, and be prepared to merge.
