Denver Broncos trading Jerry Jeudy
Cleveland obtained Amari Cooper in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys in 2022, and the former Alabama All-American wide receiver has 150 receptions for 2,410 yards and 14 touchdowns in two seasons with the Browns.
Cleveland has moved again to obtain another former Alabama All-American wide receiver in an NFL trade, with NFL Network and ESPN reporting the Browns and Denver Broncos have an agreement to exchange fifth- and sixth-round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft for Jerry Jeudy.
Jeudy has long been the subject of trade rumors, and he’s finally leaving Denver in a deal after four seasons. Last offseason, the Broncos picked up their option for a fifth season on Jeudy’s four-year rookie contract. He’ll play in 2024 for $12.987 million, then enter free agency unless Cleveland can sign him to a contract extension.
In 2023, Jeudy had 54 receptions for 758 yards and two touchdowns. In 57 games with Denver, Jeudy had 211 receptions for 3,053 yards and 11 touchdowns after joining the Broncos as the 15th selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.
