On Monday at 2:30 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. for Coffee, Dale, Henry, Geneva and Houston counties.

The weather service adds, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”

“Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility,” adds the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
