A 19-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Marengo County.

Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victims as Colten B. Moore. He lived in Demopolis.

The wreck happened at 2:30 a.m. Thursday on Marengo County 21, about eight miles south of Demopolis, said Trooper Cpl. Reginal King.

Authorities said Moore was driving a Chevrolet Silverado that left the road, struck a fence and then an embankment.

Moore was not using a seat belt at the time, King said, and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Troopers are investigating.
