Deion Sanders acknowledged the haters out there on Saturday morning during an appearance on ESPN’s “GameDay.”

“When you so right, you have to find something wrong,” Coach Prime told Pat McAfee when asked about the criticism.

“We are so right right now. You got to find something wrong. If you search and go through this, you can’t talk about the kids. You can’t talk about the coaches. You can’t talk about the way we play. You have to come at me personally. You have to find something wrong.

“But guess what? My mama may be a part of the pregame speech today. My mama may be a part of that today. I’m just letting you know.”

Sanders said, as a result, Blenders, the company that makes the sunglasses he wears, sold more than a million pairs. Sanders gifted the shades to his players.

During his weekly radio show, Colorado State coach Jay Norvell took a swipe at Sanders’ habit of wearing his cap and sunglasses during media interviews.

“I sat down with ESPN today. And I don’t care if they hear it in Boulder. I told them, ‘I took my hat off, and I took my glasses off.’ And I said, ‘When I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat and my glasses off.’ That’s what my mother taught me,” Norvell said. “They’re not going to like us, no matter what we say or do. It doesn’t matter. So, let’s go up there and play.”

Sanders reacted to the comments immediately, calling it “bulljunk.”

“The done messed around and made it personal,” Sanders said.

On Saturday, he was asked why he makes people so nervous.

“Because I’m willing to step outside the box and consistently be me,” he said.
