Alabama football will have at least one coaching change to the staff in 2025.

Colin Hitschler, co-defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach, will not return for a second season working on coach Kalen DeBoer’s staff, sources with knowledge of the situation told AL.com.

ESPN was first to report the expected change.

Hitschler primarily worked with safeties during his season in Tuscaloosa.
