Decatur police have arrested a woman in connection with a fatal shooting early Monday morning.

Chelsie Nicole Lampkin, 22, of Decatur, has been charged with manslaughter following a shooting at 12:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Third Ave. S.E.

Officers with Decatur police, Decatur Fire and EMS responded to the scene.

Terrance Faulks, 56, of Decatur, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Lampkin was transported to the Morgan County Jail where she is being held on $100,000 bond.
