A Decatur woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing last month.

Decatur police say Tekita Holmes, 35, was arrested Saturday and charged with second degree domestic violence. She is being held on a $5,000 bond in the Morgan County Jail.

The arrest came in connection with an incident May 20, police said.

Officers were dispatched to 1600 block of Chestnut St. S.E. in reference to an adult man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The man, whose name was not released, was transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital for treatment.
