Morgan County investigators were on the scene Tuesday afternoon after a body was discovered near Interstate 65.

Sheriff Ron Puckett said investigators are involved in an ongoing death investigation.

The body, which is that of an unidentified Hispanic male approximately 50 to 60 years old, was found near Interstate 65 at U.S. 31 in the Lacon area.

Morgan County authorities say drivers should use caution in the area due to large law enforcement presence.
