Madison County authorities were on the scene of a death investigation Thursday morning.

The sheriff’s office said deputies were called to a residence in the 1700 block of Capshaw Road in Harvest at about 8 a.m.

First responders on the scene found the body of a man.

As of 9:30 a.m., crime scene and major crimes unit investigators were on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify the body and establish the cause of death, the sheriff’s office stated.
