The hit AMC series Dark Winds returns with season 3 which airs Sunday, March 9 at 9/8c.

This week on the season three premiere episode, two boys disappear, leaving behind an abandoned bicycle and a mystery for the Navajo Tribal Police to solve. Meanwhile at the border, Bernadette stumbles across a conspiracy with far-reaching implications.

According to the show’s synopsis for season three, the storyline picks back up six months after the events of season two. While Leaphorn and Chee work on investigating the disappearance of two boys, Bernadette works on settling into her new life 500 miles from home.

The show is based off the late author Tony Hillerman’s fictional series consisting of 18 books. This extensive book series tells the fictional story of Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee of the Navajo Tribal Police.
