A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Daphne man Wednesday afternoon, according to Daphne police.

The accident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Highway 90 and Jubilee Parkway in Daphne. Details of the crash were not released, but police said 62-year-old Donald Mason, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was killed.

The two drivers were both injured in the crash, with one treated at the scene and the other transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Police said the accident remains under investigation, but do not believe alcohol or drug impairment were a factor.
