Crock pot is a must for cooking wild game

This weather we’ve been having lately brings out the grilling instincts in a lot of us. Steaks, Pork chops. Hamburgers. Hot dogs.

If you’ve purchased any of those items from a grocery store lately, you probably suffered a case of sticker shock.

An alternative for many is wild game on the grill. Unfortunately, wild game, like venison, on the grill can be a disaster waiting to happen. Venison lacks the flavorful fat of beef, and there is virtually no marbling. You think you’ve cooked a masterpiece only to come away with beef jerky that was much easier to chew.
