A search is underway for a Birmingham woman who was reported missing on Tuesday.

The Birmingham Police Department issued a Critical Missing Person alert for 79-year-old Senora Thomas.

Thomas suffers from a medical condition that affects her judgment, according to police.

She was last seen about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday walking near Children’s of Alabama.

Thomas was wearing a black “Church of God” t-shirt with black jeans and white Crocs.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call police at 205-328-9311.
