Bentley’s tour starts on May 29 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, and ends on Aug. 30 at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan.
Birmingham is the only Alabama stop on Bentley’s new tour, but he’s also playing in Southern cities such as Alpharetta, Georgia (June 5, Ameris Bank Amphitheatre); Charlotte, North Carolina (Aug. 9, PNC Music Pavilion); Savannah, Georgia (Aug. 21, Enmarket Arena) and Biloxi, Mississippi (Aug. 23, Mississippi Coast Coliseum). “I’m 20(ish) years into doing this, and I’ve seriously never been more excited about a tour,” Bentley said via a press release. “I’ve got a million ideas for the setlist rolling around in my head.”

Bentley has a strong fan base in Alabama, and a history of performances in the state. Most recently, he played a concert in summer 2024 at The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach.
“I really try to make albums,” Bentley said during an interview with Lawrence Specker of AL.com. “Songs to me are like the bricks, right? You’re trying to make this the best house you can make. And so whether you wrote it or found it, you gotta have the great songs and then you can make an album. You can sequence it in a certain way where it really feels like an album. There’s a lot of songs, and every song on there is one that I want to sing every night.”

Bentley’s 2025 tour will focus on greatest hits, fan favorites and new music, according to his publicist. He has a new album in the works, and released his latest single, “She Hates Me,” on Feb. 13.
The song “lands somewhere between Whitley and Weezer and features his patented style of country with a mischievous edge, plus the tongue-twisting story of a girl who is no longer falling for his country-boy charm,” a press release says.
Rolling Stone has described Bentley as “Nashville’s nature-loving everydude” and a “crunchy, Zen country star,” pointing to his self-effacing attitude, humorous lyrics and laid-back personality. The magazine also noted his ability to incorporate classic country sounds with rock, pop and bluegrass.
Bentley’s concert in Birmingham is a new addition to the lineup for the Coca-Cola Amphitheater, a $46 million concert venue that’s currently under construction.
A concert by Ben Rector has been announced for the amphitheater, as well. The singer-songwriter is set to perform at the venue on Aug. 23 with opening act Switchfoot.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show go on sale Friday, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m. CT via Live Nation/Ticketmaster, after a round of pre-sales. Prices are $28.50, $38.50, $48.50, $58.50, $63.50, $74 and $88.50, according to Live Nation.
The Birmingham date is one of five shows added to Rector’s “The Richest Man in the World Tour.” Rector, 39, is an indie artist based in Nashville with nine studio albums to his credit. He releases music on his own label, OK Kid Records, and his Christian faith is a strong element in his songwriting.
The Coca-Cola Amphitheater should be ready for the public in June 2025, according to organizers. About 20 shows are expected for the debut season, focusing on country, classic rock, rap and more.
The 9,380-seat amphitheater — owned by the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex and managed by Live Nation — has announced 18 concerts for 2025 thus far, ranging from comedian Matt Rife (June 22) to country star Jason Aldean (Sept. 26). Shows by the Alabama Shakes, Rod Stewart, Jason Isbell, Nelly, Luke Bryan and Dave Matthews Band and Hardy are on the agenda, as well.
