Country star Morgan Wallen arrested on felony charges in Nashville
Morgan Wallen has been charged with three felony counts early Monday after an incident at Eric Church’s Nashville bar.
News Channel 5 reports, according to an arrest report, Metro Nashville police officers were standing in front of Chief’s Bar on Sunday at 10:53 p.m. when a chair fell from the sixth story. WKRN reports authorities said the chair landed roughly 3 feet from the two officers.
Per the report, police viewed video which showed the country music singer “lunging and throwing an object over the roof,” his arrest report said. Witnesses told officers Wallen laughed afterward.
Staff members of Chief’s told those officers that Wallen, 30, was responsible for throwing the chair.
Wallen was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment for the two officers who were in the vicinity and for the danger to the public, the arrest report stated. Wallen was also charged with disorderly conduct.
Wallen’s bond was set at $15,250.
