Country music star’s wife on IVF treatments: ‘It’s (expletive) hellacious’
Bunnie Xo recently stated that side effects of in vitro fertilization treatments are making her reconsider IVF.
“I’m in medical menopause and it’s f–king hellacious,” she revealed on the “Dumb Blonde” podcast. “It has been the worst thing I’ve ever been through in my life.”
Bunnie Xo, who is married to country music star Jelly Roll, said she is suffering from nausea, cold sweats, blood sugar crashes and pain.
According to Taste of Country, the treatment includes taking Lupron, an injectable a synthetic hormone. Shae shared her father was on it the drug when battling cancer.
She isn’t a fan.
“At this point, I don’t f–king care,” she said. “Let’s just call it what it is and figure out another game plan,” she said, adding she was “rotting from the inside out.”
“I know this is gonna sound terrible, but I feel like I’m wasting my life,” Bunnie Xo said. “I feel like I’m watching my life fly by while I’m stuck at home having to do these f–king cycles, and it’s beyond frustrating,” she admits. “But I guess, you know, it’s the sacrifice you have to make if you really wanna have a baby.”
