Country music star’s husband dead at 72: ‘I are devastated at the loss’
Country music singer Lorrie Morgan‘s husband Randy White died of mouth cancer on Sunday at the age of 72.
Morgan’s manager confirmed the news to PEOPLE.
The Grand Ole Opry star shared a tribute to her late husband on social media Sunday night.
“Randy has been my partner, my champion and my rock for 17 years,” she posted on Instagram. “Our big, wonderful family and I are devastated at the loss of this truly kind and incredible man. I was blessed by his love.
“Ran-Ran, I will love and miss you forever.”
According to the report, White had been fighting cancer, which was diagnosed in April of last year, for more than a year and was undergoing treatment at a Tennessee hospital.
