Country music star’s estranged wife sues over music video

Country music star Zac Brown is being sued by his estranged wife Kelly Yazdi over his music video remix of “Beautiful Drug,” per Yahoo!.

According to the report, Yazdi said the model used in the video “bears a striking resemblance to her.” In the video, the mode is “depicted as being an illegal drug-using, promiscuous reckless abuser of alcohol.”

In short, she states the video was designed to “paint Ms. Yazdi in a false light.”

Yazdi, 33, also claims some footage in the video is from her wedding with Brown. In addition, she has received no compensation for the video.

Brown was granted a temporary restraining order against Yazdi in a Georgia court in May.

The country music star, 45, per the report, filed a lawsuit Friday in Georgia, requesting “an emergency temporary restraining order, injunctive relief, and damages arising out of several past and threatened violations.”

“I took the steps necessary to enforce an agreement between us to maintain personal and business affairs in confidence and to protect my family from online harassment and speculation,” Brown said in a statement to NBC News.
