Country music star, recovering from massive heart attack, makes announcement
Colt Ford, who technically died twice after suffering a massive heart attack, shared on social media some big news.
Ford posted on Instagram videos in the studio.
“I’m back baby,” Ford said. “I’ve been working hard. I’ve been down here working hard so that I can get back to y’all, and I got some new music for y’all. Brand new song called ‘Hell Out Of It’ with my buddy Michael Ray. So, whatever you doing you better be living.”
The news comes after Ford announced he was returning to touring this year.
In April, Ford told “Big D & Bubba” he’d just got back to his bus and texted his fiancée as the heart attack began. He’s been in intensive care since the incident and has canceled shows through August.
According to Taste and Country, Ford said he died “multiple times.”
“I had so much trauma in my body and my heart, I had to have three stents put in,” he said.
Doctors, per the report, told him he had a 0.1 percent chance of living, and all methods used to keep him alive were used. In addition, his gallbladder failed.
