Country music star gets win in custody battle for young daughter
Post Malone got a legal win this week after a court ruled his custody battle will remain in Utah after his ex-fiancée Hee Sung “Jamie” Park dismissed her filing for primary custody of their child in California.
TMZ, citing anonymous sources, reports Park only moved to California earlier this year. According to those sources, Park could have established residency in California in order to sue Malone for more money, based on state laws.
“Billboard” reported documents filed by the singer accuses Park of misleading the Los Angeles judge because she didn’t mention their daughter has lived in Utah for most of her life.
He claimed that Park “rushed to enroll” their daughter in a number of different activities in Los Angeles in an attempt to prove her residency.
The couple had their daughter in 2022 before splitting in 2024.
Park filed for primary custody in California in April. The following month, Malone filed his own motion to dismiss her petition.
