Country music legend may be back to touring this year
Legendary singer Jamey Johnson could be headed back to the stage this summer if a social media post proves to be true.
Melonie Cannon, who sings backup for Johnson, posted on Facebook, via PennLive, Johnson is preparing to tour this summer. He did not tour in 2023, and Cannon said in January of last year that Johnson was “gonna write songs and record music.”
Johnson’s website list performance dates Lake Charles, Louisiana, (March 15) and in Austin, Texas (March 16). He has also been announced for a date in Alabama in May where he will perform as “the special guest” for Alabama.
Johnson was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry on May 14, 2022.
