Get ready to be happy, if you like funnel cakes, Ferris wheels and farm animal exhibits. Fall is a prime time for fairs in Alabama, and several don’t-miss events are planned throughout the state. True, the fall season doesn’t officially begin until Sept. 22, but that shouldn’t stop you from chomping on a corn dog, riding on a Scrambler, petting a goat or watching shows with acrobats, motorcycle daredevils, jugglers and other traveling entertainers.
