Cooper Construction founder Jim Cooper transitions to CEO
Birmingham’s Jim Cooper Construction Co. is announcing a pair of leadership moves.
Founder Jim Cooper will assume the role of chief executive officer, while current Executive Vice President Ryan Ferris will become president and chief operating officer.
Both changes are effective immediately.
Established in 1991, Cooper Construction also has offices in Huntsville and Dallas. The company has grown to more than $350 million in annual revenue, working in warehouse/distribution, industrial, multifamily, healthcare and commercial markets for private and public sector development.
Cooper will focus on long-term strategy, and establishing key high-level partnerships for growth, while Ferris will oversee day-to-day operations, driving excellence, efficiency and growth.
