College football upsets were plentiful in Week 7, and even more are coming this Saturday. Nothing matches the feeling of cashing an underdog’s moneyline wager, and you can bet on our Week 8 upset predictions with the sportsbook promo codes below, amounting to $4,950 in bonuses.

We successfully predicted Oklahoma State taking down No. 23 Kansas and Arizona defeating No. 19 Washington State last week, and a batch of fresh games with upset potential are listed below.

College Football Week 8 upset predictions and odds: No. 16 Duke to beat No. 4 Florida State (+475 or better)

A few things must happen on Saturday night at Doak Campbell Stadium for Duke to take down Florida State.

First, Duke needs to make things difficult for Jordan Travis and the Seminoles offense. Florida State has a premier trio in Travis, Keon Coleman, and Trey Benson, but Duke’s defense is capable of slowing down the ACC’s top-scoring offense.

The Blue Devils give up the fourth-lowest points per game in FBS and rank eighth in passing yards allowed per game. When Benson struggled running the ball vs. Boston College and Clemson, Florida State was nearly upset.

If Duke’s defense can contain FSU’s offense, the Blue Devils can limit the Seminole’s possessions by leaning on its ACC-best ground game. Duke averages 198 rushing yards per week, while Florida State ranks in the bottom half of the conference in stopping the run.

Duke QB Riley Leonard’s availability for this game will be crucial. Leonard missed Week 7 with an ankle injury but participated in warmups and was a game-time decision ahead of the Blue Devil’s win over N.C. State.

College Football Week 8 upset predictions and odds: Minnesota to beat No. 24 Iowa (+160 or better)

As if things couldn’t get worse for Iowa’s woeful offense, ESPN reports the Hawkeyes’ leading pass catcher Erick All is done for the year with a knee injury. All joins QB Cade McNamara and TE Luke Lachey on the list of Iowa players who suffered season-ending injuries.

Another key offensive player sidelined for 2023 leaves even less leeway for Iowa’s stellar defense. Minnesota also struggles to light up the scoreboard but has an above-average defense that will have no problem halting the Hawkeyes.

If you’re a fan of three-and-outs and punts, Minnesota vs. Iowa is a matchup to watch. Expect the Gophers Week 7 bye to be key in a low-scoring Minnesota victory.

College Football Week 8 upset predictions and odds: TCU to beat Kansas State (+210 or better)

Kansas State started the year 2-0 with wins over Southeast Missouri State and Troy but is .500 vs. power-five teams. TCU took a major step back from the 2022 College Football Playoff season, but the offense found a spark in a 44-11 Week 7 win vs. BYU.

Horned Frogs starting QB Chandler Morris was benched in favor of Josh Hoover, who threw for 439 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions in the convincing win. Hoover’s dominance helped TCU rush for 137 yards, and Emani Bailey led the way with 61 yards.

The Wildcats’ 265 passing yards given up per game is second-worst in the Big 12, which will lead to another impressive showing from Hoover.
