College Football Week 6 upset predictions and odds: Arkansas to beat No. 16 Ole Miss (+350 or better)

Despite Arkansas’ 2-3 record, the Razorbacks have been scrappy this season. The Pigs were in a Week-4 shootout with LSU, but the Tiger knocked in a last-second field goal to win 34-31.

Arkansas is 2-1 with a +26 point differential in its last three meetings against Ole Miss. In 2022, the Razorbacks earned a 42-17 victory over the Rebels thanks to a career game from Raheim Sanders.

This is a let-down spot for Ole Miss following last week’s emotional 55-49 victory vs. LSU. There’s a possibility Lane Kiffin’s team underestimates the Razorbacks, creating a matchup that comes down to the final possessions.

College Football Week 6 upset predictions and odds: No. 25 Louisville to beat No. 10 Notre Dame (+205 or better)

Notre Dame’s hot offensive start to the year may have been fool’s gold. The Fighting Irish averaged 46 points in its opening four games but struggled against quality defenses in Ohio State and Duke, scoring 17 points per game in those matchups.

Meanwhile, Jeff Brohm is undefeated in his first season at Louisville. Thanks to the Cardinals’ explosive offense, Louisville has already taken down four power-five teams. QB Jack Plummer, RB Jawhar Jordan, and WR Jamari Thrash are a lethal trio, with each ranking in the top 25 in yardage at their positions.

The challenge for Lousiville will be slowing down Notre Dame’s offense. The Cardinals’ defense has looked solid through five games but has yet to face an offense as efficient as the Irish’s.

College Football Week 6 upset predictions and odds: Wyoming to beat No. 24 Fresno State (+200 or better)

Despite losing Jake Haener to the NFL, Fresno State has been impressive in 2023. Mikey Keene’s 1,474 passing yards and 14 touchdowns led to wins vs. Purdue and Arizona State.

Mountain West rival Wyoming is also off to a strong start, boasting a 4-1 record, and the only defeat came on the road vs. No. 4 Texas. The Cowboys opened the year with a nail-biting upset victory over Texas Tech in Week 1.

The Bulldogs defense has been on point, allowing 6 points per game over the last three weeks. Wyoming is a threat to end that impressive run, as the Cowboys have put up 30 points per game outside of the 31-10 setback vs. the Longhorns.
